The Role

As a People & Culture Business Partner at StarRez, you will be responsible for providing people and culture guidance and support to StarRez's team members, managers and executives. You will bring a comprehensive understanding of policies, practices and processes to be a trusted partner to leadership.

You will partnerwith the Senior Leadership team to ensure the successful delivery of all people and culture services, including but not limited to, recruitment and onboarding, workforce planning, performance management, performance reviews, surveys and reporting, management of people issues in consultation with and support from the P&C VP, CPO and department leaders.

What You Will Own
  • Serve as key partner, adviser and sounding board for in-country leadership, providing council and collaboration across talent acquisition, organizational design, performance management, engagement, and growth and development
  • Lead and execute talent strategy, policy and processes for People & Culture activities for StarRez team members in multiple geographies, including employment contracts, and employee handbooks in accordance with local labor laws.
  • Work with the P&C VP, CPO, and department leaders on people management activities including onboarding of new team members, performance management, learning and development, management of people issues and other activities as required
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and engaging workplace environment that aligns with company values, including leading, organizing and executing team member engagement initiatives tailored to the India site, ensuring high morale and team collaboration
  • Act as the primary point of contact for site-level people matters, resolving team member concerns and escalating issues as needed.
  • Manage the Leave Administration, including Annual, Personal, Carers, Maternity/Paternity etc.
  • Facilitating any disciplinary action and performance management with Leaders.


Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in a HR generalist role
  • Strong understanding of US labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Proficient in dealing with a variety of Employee Relation Matters
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR policies, practices and processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office tools, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with either start-up, scale-ups, acquisitions and restructuring businesses.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in HR in a SaaS/Tech company
  • Experience in a multinational organization or matrix environment
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment while managing multiple evolving priorities effectively

US - Salary Range

$100,000-$120,000 USD
