We are looking for an experienced Marketing Communications professional, with a demonstrated history of successful communications related to the semiconductor manufacturing industry, to be part of the Corporate Communications group. This person will participate in various projects and programs that support Advantest's product, promotional and branding activities worldwide. The AAI Manager of Corporate Communications will be involved with cross-functional teams on a local and global scale and will contribute to the success of Advantest's Corporate Communications projects and programs.
The successful candidate will have:
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills as well as proven research skills to gather data, best practices, and points of view to ensure sound judgment and strategic communication that supports business objectives.
Track-record of mentoring and training junior team members to deliver excellent results, on time and within budget.
Expertise in a variety of communications areas, including public relations, social media, newsletters and executive communications.
Excellent writing /editing skills to create content for a variety of channels and audiences, including articles, speeches, collateral, press releases, presentations, website copy, and videos.
Demonstrated creativity and success in developing and implementing strategic and tactical marketing communications plans, including messaging and measurement, to support global programs, events and branding initiatives.
High-level integrated marketing understanding, including technology trends, applications and market conditions.
Experience with event planning required to drive AAI events.
Superior collaborative working abilities and experience with the ability to build strong working relationships throughout the company with global staff at all levels.
Requirements:
Minimum BA/BS in communications, marketing communications or a related field.
10+ years of marketing communications experience, preferably in the semiconductor-test industry.
Strong technical understanding of semiconductors and related technologies, a plus.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written especially critical).
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment.
Detail-oriented.
Strong organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
