SUMMARY:
The position requires a good understanding of the business requirements and to work within the change control process constraints; ultimately the primary role of our team is to serve the business and accommodate the end users.
He/she/they will play an important role in the global end users services & systems monitoring operation, methodology, and coordination and will work closely with Head Office teams on tasks and projects.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate both technical capabilities and a good knowledge of various end-users' technologies, and best practices.
The candidate should have the ability to convey in non-technical terms complex technical explanations related to problems, designs, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree, preference for Computer Science, MIS or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in overall IT end-users engineering and support
- Working experience in financial industry is a plus
- The candidate should be a self-starter, be able to work with minimal supervision, properly and effectively communicate project/work status to management and peers, take full ownership and responsibility of the tasks assigned to her/him and work them through completion
- The individual will need to be very organized, flexible, results oriented and able to multi-task to meet the demands of our dynamic environment
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate both technical capabilities and in-depth knowledge of various end-users' technologies, and best practices
- The candidate should have the ability to convey in non-technical terms complex technical explanations related to problems, designs, etc.
- Effective oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential.
- The successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of industry leading end-users' technologies from a design, engineering, and troubleshooting perspective.
- Ability to research problems to develop, present, and implement full solutions after appropriate approval.
- Ability to build and maintain VMWARE VDI Desktop Pool
- Ability to develop scripts to automate the monitoring of VDI environment
- Proficient with VMware Horizon View infrastructure; ability to troubleshoot end user connectivity issues
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues to virtual desktops
- Ability to create, modify and troubleshoot Group Policy Object (GPO)
- Ability to deployed packages and patches via Microsoft SCCM.
- Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft patching, Ivanti and MacAfee Security
- Understanding of creating desktop images and optimizing the workstation for best performance
- Extensive knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is a definite plus
- Microsoft Certification is a plus
