Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Pay Rate Preference: $60-70/hr (DOE)
Role Description:
The Project Coordinator is responsible to support and drive the successful execution of cross-functional projects., follow the best practices, and meet the quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing multiple priorities, facilitating effective communication, and maintaining project documentation and timelines. You will work closely with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project objectives.
This position is part of the IT and will be based out of Sunnyvale. Client vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
Job Experience Requirements:
PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
4-7 years of experience in project coordination or project support roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint, Teams, Jira).
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Certification in project management (PMP, Scrum Master) is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor project activities, milestones, and deliverables across departments.
Develop and maintain project documentation including schedules, status reports, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
Track progress and follow up on action items with project stakeholders.
Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparation of agendas, capturing meeting notes, and distribution of minutes.
Proactively identify and escalate risks, delays, or issues to project leads.
Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and standards.
Maintain centralized project files and repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet, MS Teams).
Coordinate internal and external communication to ensure stakeholders are informed.
Support change management and training coordination as needed.
