Compensation: $90K-$120K + Bonus Potential (Origination, Hours)

Key Responsibilities
- Represent employers in workers' compensation hearings and appeals
- Provide legal counsel on issues related to workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Prepare and file legal documents, including briefs and motions
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
- Research relevant laws, statutes, and case law to support client cases
- Advise clients on their rights and options regarding their claims
- Maintain organized case files and documentation
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical professionals as needed
- 2100 Billable Hours
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensure in Illinois required, licensure in Indiana is a plus!
- 2+ years personal injury defense experience/workers' compensation defense required
- Litigation experience is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent research and writing abilities
- Ability to handle a high volume of diverse cases effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
