As a Sr. Product Manager - Tech, you are responsible for the core services that dynamically optimize the visual appearance of ads on and off Amazon. You will be working with a team of product managers, scientists, UX designers, and software engineers to build, test, launch, measure, and iterate on the features that optimizes the creative experience of display ads. You can excel when faced with ambiguity, have high judgement, and are able to balance technical limitations and customer experience to drive strategic value for the business. You challenge assumptions respectfully, experiment frequently, and can pivot quickly. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. Candidates will have a track record of understanding customer needs and delivering technology solutions to address those needs.

Key job responsibilities

Driving the vision and roadmap for creative creation, management, rendering, and optimization for people who sell on Amazon. To be successful, the PM must balance the needs of advertisers and internal stakeholders, dive deep to understand and prioritize features, invent new ways to solve customer problems, and think big to align business and tech teams on the vision for the next generation of creative tools.
Lead cross-functional tech teams to execute on product plans and deliver results
Drive executive reviews and alignment for your plans
Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout Amazon to obtain buy-in for product initiations
Partner with engineering to take features from conception to launch
Analyze and act on business metrics and data to grow the business
Leverage consumer insights, advertiser feedback, and competitive intelligence reports to inform product decisions

About the team

Our team, CreativeX Optimization, empowers advertisers to personalize the visual experience of their ads in real time. We apply advanced machine learning and generative AI to help advertisers build, identify, and understand what ad creatives work with their audiences. We develop customized CTR and CVR prediction models to help advertisers efficiently connect with shoppers across the web. We utilize generative models to understand shopper preferences across text, images, and videos. We have a broad mandate to experiment and innovate, as we seek to leapfrog the competition and impact billions of impressions daily.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
