What you'll do as a Senior Program Manager, Operations
- Serve as a strategic partner to Dycom subsidiaries by embedding into local operations and supporting project execution needs
- Develop, implement, and standardize project management tools, frameworks, and best practices across varying subsidiary environments
- Actively support project teams to drive accountability, consistency, and operational performance
- Mentor and coach local project managers and stakeholders to elevate project leadership capabilities and ensure alignment with Dycom's program management standards
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project planning, execution, and reporting processes
- Lead working sessions and feedback loops to promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with internal and subsidiary leadership to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables
What you'll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management roles, with proven experience supporting field operations or infrastructure-based industries
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, scheduling, budgeting, and performance metrics
- Experience in contract negotiations associated with developing and leading negotiations for final terms and conditions
- Experience in contract negotiations that include developing price negotiation objectives, conducting negotiations with clients and subcontractors and finalizing associated modifications to contracts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working in decentralized or multi-subsidiary environments is highly preferred
- Willingness to travel to Dycom subsidiaries as needed to support embedded project work. Estimated travel 40% - 50% dependent on organizational needs
