Compensation Range:
$102,128.00 - $134,930.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned inpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

FT position available with on-call responsibilities

Dynamic Leader needed to manage a Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department as we expand our medical facility with construction of a state-of-the-art Emergency Tower. Responsible for 24/7 management of the nursing practice and quality of care of ED patients. The NM will be responsible for the selection of nurses, coordinating staff assignments, participating in performance evaluations, and supporting nurse orientation, education, and competency development. Candidates must possess the necessary skills to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment including delivery of direct patient care. This individual will work with the nursing director to create and maintain an environment that supports professional practice and employee engagement.

The successful nurse manager will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the unit staff, directors and leadership teams, advanced practice providers, and consulting disciplines. Leadership experience required. BSN required, Master's degree will be required within 5 years.
