Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized radiation therapy plans using the Varian TruBeam 4.1 and ARIA and Eclipse System v18 software.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for oncology patients.
- Mentor and work closely with small animal rotating interns.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and progress.
- Educate and communicate with pet owners about treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of veterinary oncology.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology.
- Experience with linear accelerators and radiation therapy planning systems, preferably Varian TruBeam and ARIA and Eclipse System.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to compassionate patient care and client education
