Role: ServiceNow Lead
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the ServiceNow Architect to design and implement scalable and efficient ServiceNow solutions.
Lead the technical team in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, and SecOps.
Oversee development activities, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), workflows, business rules, UI policies, and automation.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and provide technical recommendations.
Ensure integration of ServiceNow with third-party applications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and enterprise systems.
Drive CMDB and Discovery implementation, ensuring accurate asset and service mapping.
Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure system stability and performance.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Oversee system upgrades, security configurations, and compliance with IT governance policies.
Maintain detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, development standards, and operational guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and workflows.
Strong expertise in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
Experience with ITIL framework and IT Service Management processes.
Proven ability to integrate ServiceNow with external applications and cloud environments.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Performance Analytics.
Knowledge of Security Operations (SecOps) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) in ServiceNow.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience in ITOM and ITAM implementation.
