Project Manager - Mining Experience!

Headquartered in Alaska, we are a general contractor specializing in the mining space! We've been in business for over 40 years and are looking for a project manager to join our team in Gilbert, AZ!

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the mining industry to lead and oversee various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards while engaging with key stakeholders and managing risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Lead project teams and coordinate activities to ensure successful project execution.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate project status.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Implement change management processes to address project variations and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Monitor project progress, quality assurance, and performance metrics to ensure adherence to plans.
• Facilitate meetings and maintain documentation related to project activities and decisions.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the mining sector.
• Proven experience in budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
