About the Position:
The company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead tenant improvement projects in mission-critical, hospitality, and other commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven ability to manage complex renovation projects, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure timely completion of work while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for tenant improvement projects.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Supervise subcontractors, trades, and field personnel to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with project managers, owners, and stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, permits, and safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and enforce safety protocols.
  • Resolve field-related issues and proactively address project challenges to minimize delays.
  • Manage logistics, material deliveries, and workforce coordination to maintain project efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for mission-critical and hospitality projects, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily reports, site photos, and subcontractor logs.


Requirements:
  • 10+ years of construction experience, with a strong background in tenant improvement work.
  • Extensive experience in mission-critical, hospitality, and commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and direct on-site personnel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
