Responsibilities:
Deal in a complex financial market by applying market expertise and knowledge and by leading and managing a treasury/trading team. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring they remain satisfied and loyal to the organization.
Undertake strategic and tactical risk modeling and scenario planning for business-critical decisions to support business strategy and to identify and mitigate risk in line with the risk appetite. Advise on modeling of risk scenarios to comply with the risk appetite.
Take responsibility for implementing the strategy to manage net present value (NPV) analysis on candidates (product pipeline). Perform business case development, financial modeling, and accounting and valuation analyses, incorporating probability, time, cost, budget impacts, and returns, to allow for optimal strategic and investment decision-making. Support to prioritize and close key deals of strategic and/or financial significance for the company.
Lead and coordinate the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols across the business to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
Make authoritative recommendations that have a significant impact on the business over the short and long term. Recommendations could be technical or professional in nature.
Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the function. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, external regulation, and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
