Qualifications
The R&D Scientist will be working to develop and research antigens required for vaccine production. This role is critical in creating and launching a new product line that will significantly expand the footprint in the animal vaccine industry.
Responsibilities
This position involves a 1-3 year project focusing on researching intracellular organism propagation and its effects on mammalian cells. The role requires a high degree of personal motivation and technical/analytical skills, operating in a collaborative and dynamic research environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $62.00/hr.

Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in biochemistry, biology, virology, or immunology preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of mammalian cell culture experience

Responsibilities
- Develop and research antigens for vaccine production.
- Utilize bioreactors and process engineering to scale novel biopharmaceutical processes.
- Conduct mammalian cell culture and maintain cell physiology, including aseptic techniques, nutritional requirements, and environmental conditions.
- Design and conduct experiments related to vaccine production.
- Ensure compliance with GLP or GMP standards.
- Analyze technical data and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with various divisions and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience in growth of intracellular bacteria
- Bioreactor utilization
- Process engineering
