Job Title: Psychotherapist

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues. Your role will involve conducting one-on-one therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions to assess and address clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns.


  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on a thorough assessment of clients' needs and goals.


  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.


  • Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable therapeutic goals, and regularly evaluate progress.


  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and session notes.


  • Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of psychotherapy to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.


  • Work closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to provide comprehensive care and ensure coordinated treatment.


  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education activities to contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.


  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including maintaining client confidentiality and obtaining informed consent.


  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and make appropriate referrals for psychiatric evaluation or additional support services.


  • Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.


  • State licensure as a Psychotherapist or eligibility to obtain licensure.


  • Clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services to individuals across the lifespan.


  • Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.


  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.


  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.


  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about best practices in mental health.


  • Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a non-judgmental approach to client care.


  • Compensation: Wage range is $30.00 - $65.00 per billable hour depending on experience.
