A Day in the Life
The Vice President, Visual Merchandising plays a critical role in the evolution of the retail expression across LUXE. The role of the VP of Visual Merchandising is to oversee the vision & execution on all visual merchandising projects ensuring they support the company strategic business initiative and vision. This position will work closely with Sales and Marketing departments, retail partners and Global VM teams. This role will direct the layout and production of all visual merchandising updates and POS across multiple retailers.
Requirements
15+ years of related experience
Recognized as an expert within the company
Holds in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline and broad knowledge of other job disciplines within the function
Solves unique problems that have a broad impact on the business
Contributes to the development of functional strategy
May lead increasingly larger or more complex project teams across a function or business line, integrating multidisciplinary team across varied business lines and disciplines

Planogram knowledge
Excellent knowledge of Mac Platform
Superb visual eye, creative ability and driver of innovation
Strong leadership, teamwork and project management skills, including demonstrated track record in managing projects across functional lines and channels
Flexibility to manage competing priorities and shift focus as determined by changing priorities and needs of the department or the business as a whole
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; excellent organizational and prioritization skills, keen attention to detail
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, vendors and other employees.
Ability to work in a startup mode within a large corporate entity.
Work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines juggling multiple priorities
Strong computer skills
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
Basic Mac system/software
Responsibilities
Direct the creative vision of all Visual Merchandising projects across the US with our retail partners
Plan and work to meet each fiscal merchandising budget in collaboration with sourcing teams
Ability to execute under accelerated timeframes and quickly adapts to change in priorities; must be able to follow projects from inception to completion, and ensure always on time execution
Leads design direction and inspiration to merchandising design team, with impeccable management and leadership capabilities
Visual and strategic direction for the companies merchandising standards and seasonal merchandising guidelines
Competitive shop and identify best practices in merchandising
Monthly store visits to check the quality of all merchandising items
Deliver seamless relationship with global partners, across all brands, while defending the position of the US

Have the urgency to anticipate busy schedules and teamwork to communicate with other members of the department/store to complete assignments on time and accurately. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the company from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position
What We Offer
Salary Range: $172,400- $250,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level Competitive Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Pension Plan)
