Responsibilities
You Will be responsible for...
- Partner with finance leadership to analyze the company's performance, trends, and key metrics, providing insights and recommendations to Orkin's leadership team
- Prepare accurate, insightful, and timely financial reports, presentations, and dashboards that highlight key findings and support decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, business valuation, and strategic planning
- Support annual planning and periodic forecasting processes by collecting and analyzing financial data from various sources
- Collaborate with business units to develop accurate revenue and expense forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Monitor and analyze budget vs. actual performance, identifying key drivers of variances and trends
- Coordinate the month-end close process for Orkin's business, ensuring precision and accuracy for branch and regional P&Ls
- Partner with Orkin leadership to optimize, standardize, and improve the month-end close process
- Serve as a business partner and guide to Orkin Divisional management, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Act as a liaison between Accounting and Operations to respond to P&L inquiries
- Influence a continuous improvement mindset and use new tools like Alteryx and Power BI
- Assist with acquisition analysis, due diligence, and post-closing integration
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with colleagues across various departments
- Recommend and ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures in compliance with SOX
- Perform special projects and initiatives as needed

- Work Environment: Opportunity for hybrid office and home-based working arrangements once onboarded with 3 to 4 in office days are required. Typical office days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at our Atlanta Campus in Buckhead/Midtown area.

Qualifications
The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, MBA, or Master's preferred)
- 3-5+ years of accounting or finance experience in a large public or private company
- Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques, experience with PowerPoint and advanced proficiency in Excel is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the broader impact of financial decisions on organizational performance
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and levels of the organization
- JD Edwards (JDE), Power BI and Alteryx experience is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to travel domestically to support business operations as needed
