Clinical Research Coordinator Nurse | San Antonio, TX *Only Registered Nurses with an active Texas license will be considered at this time.* Full-Time, Monday-FridayVivo Infusion Research Coordinator Nurse: The Vivo Infusion Research department is seeking a passionate and meticulous Clinical Research Coordinator Nurse to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX. The individual in this role will manage the storage and handling of research materials, ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards, and facilitate communication between providers, researchers, and patients.The Research Coordinator Nurse guides the daily operations of various clinical research projects, working collaboratively with our study team from initiation to completion.Ideal candidates will have a strong nursing background to include infusion or chronic illness experience and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. This is an onsite position in San Antonio that provides the unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of Vivo's Research department while advancing the field of clinical research as a whole and making a difference in the lives of our patients.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
  • Evaluate site feasibility and conduct thorough protocol reviews.
  • Implement study protocols, including patient recruitment and screening, informed consent processes, and treatment coordination.
  • Manage investigational product accountability and administration, ensuring compliance with study guidelines.
  • Collect data, enter case report forms, and resolve queries with accuracy.
  • Actively participate in investigator meetings and facilitate site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.
  • Strategize and execute solutions to support a growing research program.

Qualifications:
  • An associate's degree in nursing is required; a bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Current RN License in the state of Texas, required.
  • Active CPR/BLS certification, required prior to start date.
  • Experience working in clinical research, required.
  • Infusion experience, preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Must have a high degree of professional ethics, thorough knowledge of confidential and regulatory compliance practices. Prior experience working within The Joint Commission compliance requirements, a plus!
  • Highly motivated team player with the capacity for independent work on multiple protocols.
  • Must have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn new systems as needed.
