Job Summary
Under the leadership of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, organization, and administration of personnel functions for both classified and certificated employees. This role involves leading key HR functions, including recruitment and selection, credential analysis, job classification and compensation, employee and labor relations, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The Director provides professional and technical expertise in support of the district's goals and ensures alignment with district policies and objectives. Additionally, the position plays a critical role in managing and maintaining comprehensive personnel records systems, overseeing program compliance, supporting budget planning and analysis, and preparing a wide range of reports for local, state, and federal agencies.
