Position Title: Senior Accountant
We are looking to add a Senior Accountant to our Finance team to support our upcoming transformation from a development focused company to a commercial stage company. The Senior Accountant will assist the Finance team with day-to-day accounting and finance tasks such as month-end procedures, financial reporting, and analyses. Position is full-time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
The Senior Accountant will be involved in many of the day-to-day accounting and finance tasks, including the following:
- Responsible for month-end close activities including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate completion with U.S. GAAP
- Lead the preparing and analyzing of expense analyses and prepare and review the company's financial statements
- Lead the accounting for the company's accruals for R&D and G&A accruals by conducting accrual meetings and coordinating with FP&A and various company teams and vendors
- Maintain the general ledger chart of accounts
- Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual SEC filing, including financial statements and notes
- Assist with quarter-end reviews and year-end audits, including internal controls testing (SOX 404)

Qualifications (Education & Experience)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area, and a minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounting or Finance related role; or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with SOX 404 and internal control over financial reporting
- Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred but not required
- Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail-orientated with strong organization and communication skills
