Director of Operations and Supply Chain is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations, purchasing and supply chain functions within the organization. Here are the key duties, responsibilities, and qualifications associated with this role:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Translates business strategies into operational plans, considering business priorities.
Responsible for managing the annual planning process (AOP) and budgets for operations and supply chain.
Responsible for the P&L of manufacturing and supply chain
Responsible for leading the companies SIOP process.
Leads the companies Continuous Improvement program.
Manages all inbound and outbound product logistics.
Leads supplier selection & negotiation activities.
Responsible for overseeing the company's quality program and compliance to industry standards.
Recommends CapEx needs.
Oversees the company's maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
Motivating the team to achieve objectives and targets.
Organizing training programs to enhance job skills and knowledge.
Builds and maintains effective working relationships with various levels in the organization.
Qualifications:
Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance degree required.
MBA preferred.
Strong, demonstrated, hands on working knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
Strong understating of ERP/MRP systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
