About the CASA Division:

The Snohomish County Office of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) champions the best interests of children in the dependency system, ensuring they are heard, supported, and empowered. We advocate first for family preservation and reunification, recognizing that children thrive when connected to their families, culture, and community. Our interdisciplinary team of staff and volunteers work collaboratively to transform lives, one child at a time.

We recruit, train and support quality volunteer advocates for the best interests of abused, neglected and abandoned children. Our vision is that every child who needs a voice has a CASA to advocate for their best interests, a forever home, and a bright future. As part of the larger Human Services Department, the CASA Division leverages county-wide resources and partnerships to create lasting positive outcomes for the most vulnerable children in our community.

About You:

You are a passionate advocate for children with strong leadership qualities who is ready to take the next step in your career. You possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and develop staff while maintaining the highest standards of program quality. Your experience in human services has prepared you to understand the complex needs of vulnerable populations and the systems that serve them.

You thrive in a collaborative office environment, working closely with teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for those we serve. You value the importance of in-person connections and direct engagement with both staff and stakeholders, which is why this integral leadership role requires your full-time presence in our office.

About Us Together:

As the CASA Division Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our operation. Depending on specific assignment, your role may include guiding our staff, supporting the vital work of our volunteer advocates, ensuring compliance with public records requirements, overseeing administrative functions, and/or strategically developing marketing and recruitment plans for growth in our CASA network. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of advocacy we provide to vulnerable children in the dependency system. Together, we will continue to strengthen our program, ensure compliance with all standards and requirements, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in Snohomish County.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals committed to child advocacy. By joining our leadership team, you'll help shape the future direction of the CASA Division while fostering personal connections and a collaborative spirit that make our work so effective. Whether you bring existing experience with dependency systems or are ready to apply your human services expertise to a new area, your contributions will be valued and impactful.
