What you'll do at IP Corporation as an IT Support Analyst:
The IT Support Analyst is responsible for providing Level 2 support for end-users, ensuring efficient and timely resolution of IT issues related to the company's software systems. This role involves diagnosing technical problems, assisting with software troubleshooting, and escalating unresolved issues to higher-level support when necessary. Additionally, the IT Support Analyst will gather, document, and manage user requests, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.

What you'll do at IP Corporation as an IT Support Analyst:
The IT Support Analyst is responsible for providing Level 2 support for end-users, ensuring efficient and timely resolution of IT issues related to the company's software systems. This role involves diagnosing technical problems, assisting with software troubleshooting, and escalating unresolved issues to higher-level support when necessary. Additionally, the IT Support Analyst will gather, document, and manage user requests, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.
What you can expect to do as an IT Support Analyst:
- Provide Level 2 support for IT-related incidents and service requests related to enterprise applications and desktop software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues that have been escalated from Level 1 support.
- Accurately document user requests, issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the IT service management system.
- Escalate unresolved software issues to appropriate Level 3 support or vendor support as needed, ensuring all necessary information is clearly documented.
- Work closely with end-users to provide guidance on system usage and best practices to enhance productivity.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
- Participate in testing and validation of system updates, patches, and new implementations to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify recurring software issues and recommend improvements to IT support processes.
- Support IT security initiatives by following company policies and procedures related to access management, system updates, and data protection.
- Train and mentor Level 1 support personnel, providing guidance and knowledge-sharing on software troubleshooting and service delivery best practices.
What we are looking for in an IT Support Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to resolve IT issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- IT certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Microsoft certifications, or software-specific certifications are a plus.
