Job Description
This position is being recruited in both Anchorage and Juneau; final location is based on the location of the selected candidate.
What You Will Be Doing

This position supervises and leads a team of four IT Help Desk professionals in the Department of Revenue. The IT Help Desk administers IT support to everyday hardware and software technologies such as desktop and laptop computers, email, network, Windows and Microsoft Office and other business applications.

The Department of Revenue, Administrative Services Division, contributes to the Department's mission by providing efficient and effective administrative services in support of the Department's programs. The Microcomputer Network Specialist 2 provides technical support and customer service across the Department's primary divisions.

Computers: Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoots, diagnoses, analyzes, and identifies system malfunctions to determine the source and cause of the problem.
