The Executive Vice President, Banking, Lending & Trading is a leadership role within our Wealth Management organization, reporting directly to the Head of Wealth Management. This role leads two critical parts of our business: 1) Banking and Lending Solutions 2) Trading. The Banking and Lending Solutions team is focused on developing credit, cash, and banking products and capabilities for LPL financial advisors and their clients; The Trading team focuses on all trading platforms, capabilities, services, and operations related to broad range of investment products including Equities, Mutual Funds, Options, Annuities, Alternatives and others.

As a leader over LPL's Banking & Lending organization you will lead the strategy, design, development, execution and delivery of a state-of-the-art banking product and platform solution set for financial advisors and their clients that enable LPL advisors to expand the breadth and depth of their advice, as well as enable LPL to grow its positioning as a destination of choice amongst advisors with a comprehensive advice value proposition. The near-term roadmap will include focus on critical strategic projects such as: CMA, Credit Card, and secured credit lending.

As a leader over LPL's Trading organization you will be responsible for delivering a key component of the wealth management experience. In 2024, the Trading organization was responsible for delivering over 108 million total trades, while handling over 720k client calls with a growing Net Promoter Score. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation, optimize efficiencies and trading strategies and ensure the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the design and delivery of our banking, lending and trading solutions at LPL, including the desired offering suite, delivery model, and long-term growth plan
    • Banking & Lending: key near-term solutions include cash management account, credit cards, and secured credit
    • Trading: key near-term solutions include digital rebalancing tools
  • Lead cross-functional teams to evolve our platform, offerings, service, and operational experience
  • Bring new solutions to market with a perspective of the overall marketplace; expand adoption with a focus on pricing and advisor adoption
  • Measure client feedback and implement continuous improvement on our services & offerings
  • Manage and optimize partnerships with third parties to drive client and LPL outcomes
  • Demonstrate ability to drive firm-wide outcomes, including enabling recruiting efforts, growth of existing advisor relationships, and expanding monetization opportunities
  • Frame, simplify, and communicate complex topics across the organization, including upwards
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in banking, lending & trading with clients, employees, and other stakeholders in the marketplace
  • Lead and mentor sr. leadership team fostering a culture of excellence


Relevant Experience:
  • Built a world-class, multi-faceted banking and lending platform and navigated through the full product lifecycle, from initial vision to end result
  • Holds a deep understanding of the needs of both advisors and their clients; experience in serving high-net-worth clients is a "plus"
  • Has successfully delivered in a non-bank environment and is comfortable managing partnerships to execute
  • Implemented broad-sweeping process changes or developed and implemented brand new processes that were embraced by an organization.
  • Strong gravitas, executive presence, interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and respect.

Pay Range:
292,500-487,500/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
