The Wraparound Clinical Supervisor builds the capacity of their supervisees to provide high quality services and manage the operational and professional demands of their individual roles. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with other program leaders to develop and maintain program systems that contribute to the delivery of high quality, accessible, and responsive services to clients, while also maintaining relationships with county representatives from Social Services, Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health, and Post-Adoption Services to ensure services are outcome-oriented and centers community voices and values. In partnership with program leaders, the Clinical Supervisor upholds Seneca's values related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

ABOUT WRAPAROUND

Seneca's Wraparound program in Santa Clara County provides culturally-sensitive, highly-coordinated intensive services to youth and families with complex and enduring needs. Through a team and strengths-based approach, the mental health supports focus on enhancing safety, placement stability, and well-being. Wraparound works in close partnership with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health and Post-Adoption services to provide outcome-oriented services aimed to keep youth in their homes and community. Wraparound serves racially and ethnically diverse youth and families regardless of, but not limited to, their socio-economic circumstance, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and religion.

RESONSIBILITIES
  • Work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to support the overall quality and operations of the program.
  • Provides supervision, training, professional development, and oversight of clinical, direct care and/or administrative support staff, as assigned, to ensure high quality service delivery to clients that is grounded in Seneca's values, guided by the principles of Unconditional Care, and in adherence to relevant governing standards.
  • Remain knowledgeable of all youth and ensure appropriate safety planning for all.
  • Provide culturally-sensitive supervision, support, and training to all staff through weekly individual supervision, group supervision, and team meetings.
  • Create a program culture where all staff feel a sense of belonging and staff from underrepresented identity groups feel seen, supported, and advanced
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with DFCS, Post-Adoption, Probation and Behavioral Health partners.
  • Provide consultation and training to program staff, caregivers, partners and other providers, as assigned, in areas such as clinical treatment, client service planning, crisis management, safety assessment, etc.
  • Manages staff to complete operational, compliance, and billing requirements of their role.
  • Ensure supervisees are creating documentation that upholds the integrity and dignity of our youth and their lived experiences, and submitting them in a timely manner.
  • Perform personnel functions for assigned staff, including overseeing hiring, evaluation, and termination.
  • Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's Equilibrium model training. This may include intervening with the clients' behavioral program through physical management of the clients, if applicable. Training in additional crisis intervention modalities such as CPI may be required.
  • Attend all managers, regional and county meetings as well as all program activities and events that are in-person.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior at all times in accordance with Seneca's mission and philosophy.
  • Participate in the Administrator-On-Call rotation for our Rapid Response system, which involves providing over the phone support to staff managing in-person crisis needs.
  • Perform all other duties as necessary for the good of the agency as directed by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED
  • Master's degree in education, social work, psychology, and/or counseling
  • Registered with California BBS: Fully licensed MFT, LCSW, or licensed Clinical Psychologist
  • 2-years post-licensure experience
  • Prior experience working with children/youth and families with intensive mental health needs
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

PREFERRED
  • Experience leading community-based clinical teams who support racially and ethnically diverse youth who may identify as a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Willingness to self-reflect about how the intersection of one's own identity, power and privilege, and communication style influences how they provide clinical leadership
  • Experience working effectively with different communication styles amongst team members
  • Experience implementing family-focused services

SCHEDULE
  • Full-time; Monday - Friday; 9am - 5:30pm
  • Hybrid; provide in-person services & complete documentation remotely
