ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Classification Management Officer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• The Classification Management Officer provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security Guidelines, and ICD 710: Classification Management and Control Markings System
• Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution
• Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge
• Generate, track, coordinate, and respond to action items in a timely manner
• Conduct classification reviews
• Identify and assess sources for classification determinations

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8 years of security experience & Bachelor's Degree in any field; OR 12 years of experience & Associates in any field; OR 5 years of experience & Master's degree
• Experience with complex security classification issues
• Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and it's implementing directive
• Ability to utilize effective writing, communication and research skills
• Understanding security policies related to the IC and customer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to assist the government in the Integrated Security Assessment Program (ISAP)
• Experience working with industrial security staffs
• Experience working with SAP/CAP information
• Experience with National Industry Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures
• Working knowledge of acquisition lifecycle security requirements

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
