Required Skills:
We are seeking a GIS Test Lead to manage end-to-end testing activities for GIS applications,ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with industry standards, and smooth execution ftest cycles.
The ideal candidate should have strong GIS domain expertise, experience in testplanning and execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination.
Additionally,exposure to test automation, including Tosca, is preferred.
Strong team leadership, test coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent communication and reporting capabilities for test progress and risk mitigation.
Experience in test planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for large GIS projects.
Ability to manage testing SLAs, KPIs, and defect resolution timelines.

Roles and responsibilities:
Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for GIS applications.
Ensure comprehensive functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing forGIS solutions.
Conduct spatial data validation tests, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in map rendering,geospatial analysis, and GIS services.
Validate GIS APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases.
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent applicationperformance.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and GIS teams to align testing activities withproject requirements.Defect Management & Quality Assurance:
Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
Perform root cause analysis and defect triaging, ensuring timely resolution.Ensure compliance with QA best practices, testing standards, and utility industry regulations.
Provide test progress reports and key metrics to stakeholders.
