You will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales representatives, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Immediate hiring need: Recruit and manage 2 closers and 5 setters for the team right away
- Develop and execute a plan to expand the team to 20 setters and 5 closers within 6 months
- Implement and refine sales processes to align with both market-specific needs and company-wide goals
- Company-provided resources to build and scale the sales team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
- Deeply understand Oregon's solar policies, regulations, and incentive structures to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable and compliant
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and potential sales channels
- Monitor sales performance, provide ongoing feedback, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure goals are met
- Represent Suntria at local networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the brand and generate leads
- Stay up-to-date with the latest solar energy trends and products to remain competitive in the market
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role, preferably in the home improvement, renewable energy, or solar industry
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
- Experience managing a growing team: Ability to recruit, train, and scale a high-performance sales team
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve success
- Deep knowledge of Oregon's solar policies, regulations, and incentive structures
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
