Overview:

Join Cognizant as an inspiring leader within the Program & Project Management community. This key role is responsible and accountable for Program Management activities associated with large-scale, complex, multi-service (Application Development and Maintenance, Infrastructure, Business Process, and Digital) programs. Successful candidates will not only manage delivery objectives but will also oversee multiple projects ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering high-quality outcomes. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement.

Role:
Lead the planning and implementation of projects within the portfolio.
Oversee the coordination and completion of projects on time and within scope.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams.
Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
Manage changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
Ensure projects align with business objectives and company strategy.
Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and progress.
Foster a culture of accountability and excellence within the project teams.
Utilize PPM tools and methodologies to optimize project delivery.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Promote a positive work environment and team spirit.
Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality projects.

Required Qualifications:
Must have extensive experience (15-18 years) in Portfolio and Project Management (PPM).
Experience in Retail / Consumer Goods domain is preferred.
Experience managing ECommerce Development / Support.
Should possess strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
PMP Certification is required.
Should be proficient in using PPM tools and software.
Must have a proven track record of managing complex projects successfully.
Should have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
Should have experience in risk management and mitigation.
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Should have strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Should have a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
Must be committed to continuous improvement and professional development.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Masters degree strongly preferred

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
