Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty: Electrophysiology (EP)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00-17:30
Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: RN License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have:
- Advanced skills in critical care experience and/or cardiac experience are preferred.
Job Description:
- Work in a procedural area, not prep recovery, with 10-hour shifts.
- Participate in a team staffing approach with 3-4 staff members per room.
- Utilize equipment such as Siemens and Philip X-ray systems, EP Claris Recording System and Stimulator, Carto, Rhythmia, and Ensite Mapping System, RF and PFA ablation technology.
- Use EP Claris Nurse Scribe for documentation.
- Schedule includes 4 days a week (07:00-17:30), no weekends, no major holidays, and no on-call duties.
- Be available to stay late for cases that go beyond 17:30, 1-2 shifts per week.
- Perform procedures including Pacemaker Implant, Implantable Cardio-defibrillators Implant, Leadless pacemaker implant, SICD implants, BiVentricular Pacemaker/ICD implants, EP Studies, right and left atrial cardiac ablations, VT/PVC ablations, TEE/CVSN, Laser Lead extractions, Left Atrial Appendage Closure implant.
- Follow dress code: OR scrubs, shoes worn outside the hospital not allowed in labs without shoe covers, scrub cap.
- Opportunities to work with new equipment and technology in a department known for its outstanding teamwork and tenure of staff.
