Description:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join a local firm of IT professionals. This role includes handling support requests, deploying software, managing networks, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT systems.
The responsibilities will include installing and maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, enforcing security best practices, and documenting internal processes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for responding to client tickets, maintaining time sheets, and communicating clearly and professionally with clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of IT experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or Cisco CCNA are preferred, or a willingness to obtain them. Experience with networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud service providers such as Azure or AWS is also desirable.
