Are you a Corporate Accounting Manager?

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other relevant regulations.
  • Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Ensure payroll accounting for 500+ employees is accurately booked and appropriately billed back.
  • Must possess advanced knowledge of Excel to ensure billback workbooks are functioning properly.
  • Lead budgeting processes, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls in accordance with SOX requirements.
  • Supervise accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely collections and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize accounting software (Sage-Intacct) to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Monthly Nexonia (internal senior leader employee credit card) financial reporting.
  • Oversee monthly cash projection reports.
  • Review, develop and maintain internal control policies
  • Monitor accounting office daily activities and ensure that Coast Company policies are followed.
  • Develop and measure accounting performance KPI's with advanced platforms.
  • Ensure efficiencies and organization in the accounting department.
  • Oversee current computer accounting systems and ensure that they are running correctly.
  • Develop a clear understanding of affordable housing rules and ensure timely reporting and payments to all necessary agencies.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the SVP of Finance and other V.P.'s in the organization and keep them apprised of weekly accounting department operations.
  • Perform routine bank transfers, wires, ACH requests, fraud tracking and accounting investigations.
  • Maintain banking relationships.
  • Oversee team of four (4) treasury and accounting personnel.


Qualifications -This position carries supervisory responsibilities.
  • A minimum of 7 years of proven supervisory/management experience in the multi-family real estate industry.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Affordable housing knowledge preferred
  • Experience with YARDI and Sage/Intacct is preferred
  • Ability to determine, facilitate accounting projects;
  • Highly organized; flexible; strong attention to detail;
  • Disciplined time and change management skills; good multi-tasking abilities;
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Excellent people & project management skills;
  • Strong assessment/ reasoning skills; independent decision maker;
  • Expert level knowledge of computer software, including all MS OFFICE applications

Hours, Pay & Location:

Full-Time schedule - Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (PST)

Pay: $100,000-$120,000 annualized, commensurate with experience

Location: Remote/hybrid - Residing within WA, ID, OR, CA, TN, IN, SC, UT, or CO.
