ManTech seeks a highly skilled and knowledgeable Quality Assurance Engineer Lead that is responsible for working with multiple teams to assess technical risks and ensure that hardware and software products adhere to strict quality standards. T his position is located in Washington, D.C.

The projected compensation range for this position is $125,500.00-$210,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. ManTech seeks a highly skilled and knowledgeable Quality Assurance Engineer Lead that is responsible for working with multiple teams to assess technical risks and ensure that hardware and software products adhere to strict quality standards. T his position is located in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Document and deliver quality deliverables, e.g. QASP.
- Perform configuration management, change management, and release management for the program using Agile methods, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Perform application automation and manual testing, validating bugs, and isolating issues; develop test plans and reusable test cases; initiate tests and analyze/report the test results in the ticketing system.
- Proactively seek and identify opportunities to use process improvement and methodologies to achieve quality improvements.
- Lead for the program to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments.
- Strong infrastructure expertise, specifically Cloud experience (hybrid preferred - AWS and Azure).
- Experience in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated experience in continuous process improvement on large-scale programs using Agile methods, as well as experience in capturing metrics to demonstrate success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mentoring junior staff and/or staff not experienced with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, documentation, or project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience with planning strategy and tactics.
- Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generate alternatives, evaluate, and select alternatives and implement solutions.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Frequently communicate with coworkers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
