Pain Management Physician Opportunity:
Principle Spine and Pain is looking for an experienced and energetic Interventional Pain Physician to add to our Pain Management Group. With 3 Clinic locations, we pride ourselves on offering the highest level of clinical care and the latest interventional treatments to alleviate and manage pain. This role will work out of our Texas City, TX location located South of Houston, TX.
Our primary goal is to restore quality of life and maximize function for patients suffering from chronic physical pain. We construct a personalized treatment plan that combines rehabilitative therapy, minimally invasive interventions, and medication management. This philosophy, in conjunction with a compassionate and responsive approach to patient care, allows us to maintain positive partnerships with our patients.

- Full-time, Permanent role
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-6:00PM; must be flexible as needed to accommodate patients
- 3 days of clinic and 1 procedure day weekly
- Pay: $300,000-$400,000/yearwith bonus compensation plan (percentage of collections)
- Location: The position works out of a Pain Management Clinic in Texas City

- Our practice covers the costs of malpractice insurance and any membership dues, licensures, and credentials that are needed for the practice of medicine. They also offer $2500 per year for continuing medical education.
Pain Management Physician Essential Job Functions:
- Work with the pain management team and clinical staff to provide patients with pain management/treatment services with a high level of care for patients
- Provide medical treatment to high-volume patients daily for pain (hand, wrist, shoulder, elbow, hip, leg, knee, chest, foot, ankle, rib, face, neck back, diabetic, burning, cancer, chronic headaches migraines)
- Conduct Pain Treatment/Procedures including injections, nerve blocks, pain pumps, infusion therapy, RFT, RFA, spinal cord stimulation, lumbar decompression and more
- Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate and called for
- Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions
- Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment
- Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
- Record complete, timely and legible medical records.
Pain Management Physician Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Required
- Completion of a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine
- Pain Management/Interventional Pain Physician experience 3-5 years working within a busy medical facility
- Experience providing pain management, anesthesia or PM&R (physical medicine and rehabilitation) in a clinical setting
- Current and valid DEA license, Texas Medical License, all of the major Texas in-network insurance contracts and Medicare provider
- Board-certified in Interventional Pain Medicine
- Background of anesthesia or PM&R (physical medicine and rehabilitation)
- Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments and health regimens to treat patient health issues.
- Experience collaborating with specialists to explore patient health conditions and diagnose health issues.
- Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
