Sr. Corporate Accountant
Position Summary
The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely preparation of financial information for both company management and external users. This role will report to the Director, Corporate Accounting and Treasury, and help manage both Corporate and Company-wide accounting initiatives, working collaboratively with the broader accounting team across the Company's 16 manufacturing sites to support these initiatives. This encompasses both the regular reporting and various specialized accounting projects as needed. The Senior Corporate Accountant must possess the ability to analyze, interpret, forecast, conclude, and report relevant financial information in various financial areas.
This position is fully onsite at our corporate office in Woburn, MA.Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Principle Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
- Reconciliation, support and analysis of various balance sheet accounts
- Preparation of accounting estimates.
- Overseeing and maintaining intercompany balances, monthly charges and reconciliations
- Prepare and record proper accounting for Corporate payroll activity and accruals
- Generation of periodic financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Ensures the accuracy, quality, and integrity of the Company's accounting system.
- Supports the integrity of the Company's internal control environment.
- Understands the various accounting cycles and applies this knowledge to support the Company's operational and internal control environment.
- Supports internal and external audits as required.
- Assist in the implementation of consolidated accounting policies and procedures
- Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting to management and lenders
- Continuously improves the value of the Finance function within the Company. Eliminates waste and adds value at every opportunity.
- Provide forecasts, projections and analysis as required.
- Assist in annual budget preparation.
- Manage and complete specialized projects independently or as part of a team.
- Additional duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualification Requirements
Credentials/Experience:
- Active CPA or successful completion of the CPA exams
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting
Experience/Educational/Training Preferred:
- Two to five years of progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 or other large national accounting firm experience
- Manufacturing accounting background a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience in researching technical accounting issues and drafting internal accounting positions on such matters
- Comprehension of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
- Ability to work well in a dynamic and changing company environment and to remain flexible to changing demands.
