Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - Internal Operations

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our data and analytics team, focusing on driving operational excellence through data-driven insights and solutions. This role will be crucial in supporting internal business partners, developing comprehensive reporting solutions, and fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Analytics & Reporting
  • Design and implement a self-service data tool for internal business users
  • Design and maintain internal dashboards and reporting systems for tracking operational KPIs, MSA/SLA performance and key operating measures
  • Develop and implement metrics for measuring team performance and operational efficiency
  • Create automated reporting solutions to streamline internal processes
    Partner with department heads to identify and track success metrics
  • Product development support

    Training & Enablement
  • Lead training programs for business users on self-service analytics tools
  • Create documentation and user guides for internal reporting systems
  • Mentor business users in data analysis best practices
  • Build and maintain a knowledge base for common data requests and analyses

    Process Optimization
  • Actively lead and participate in process optimization workshops
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and drive data driven decisions
  • Actively partner and collaborate with various internal business partners to solve complex problems, provide key insights on day-to-day operations, provide insight for future planning, growth
  • Implement data governance standards for internal reporting
  • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure to ensure data accuracy and system reliability
  • Develop and maintain data quality monitoring processes

    Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare business analytics or related field
  • Expertise in visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical analytics
  • Proven track record of implementing self-service analytics solutions
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills
  • Strong knowledge base of pharmacy, distribution and hub services operations models
  • Deep understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
    Deep understanding of Consumer and HCP

    Technical Skills:
  • Advanced analytics and database management
  • Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo, Metabase)
    Excel (advanced level)
  • Deep understanding of data modeling and architecture
  • Healthcare and Pharmacy data structures and terminology
  • Ability to manage and maintain a roadmap, familiar with Agile Methodologies
  • Maintain current knowledge of Security, BI Tools, AI and other leading technology capabilities

    Healthcare Industry Knowledge:
  • Understanding of healthcare operations and workflows for Pharma, Pharmacy, Payer and Patient
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements
  • Expertise in healthcare data privacy standards
  • Experience with metrics, measures and KPIs used in healthcare

    Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant certifications in analytics or project management a plus
