Description:
Carrix, a Blackstone portfolio company, is seeking an analytical and driven individual to join our Business Development team as a Senior Financial Analyst. The position will liaise regularly with different leaders in the organization including finance, accounting, legal and operations. The Senior Financial Analyst role for our Business Development team will support creating, developing, and presenting business plans and investment recommendations, primarily on cruise infrastructure projects, to senior Carrix leadership.

- Lead financial analyses and modeling to support investment decisions and provide valuation assessments.
- Assess and review current operations within Carrix and SSA Marine subsidiaries and joint ventures in order to identify new investment opportunities to grow the business.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by expanding existing operations and/or through acquisitions.
- Work with operational leaders on various analytical and finance related projects aimed at improving reporting and processes and assist the business units in making decisions.
- Lead initiatives on process improvement within the business development group.
- Conduct industry and business-related research.
- Supports due diligence efforts with internal subject matter experts and outside advisors.
- Supports internal underwriting (direct engagement with Executive Leadership and / or Board of Directors investment memo, capital appropriation).
- Take a complex and detailed investment structures and communicate the key drivers and results in a concise manner and formulate meaningful recommendations.
- Prepare internal memoranda, marketing decks and other materials used to support investment recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents.
- Provide organizational, financial modelling and other support for internal projects, including greenfield developments and terminal redevelopment projects.
- Communicate with joint venture partners on a regular basis, coordinating deliverables with internal and external partners, and tracking and analyses of financials.
- Coordinate with internal groups to ensure potential investments are aligned and properly structured in accordance with business objectives and strategies to minimize risks and maximize returns.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality of work by planning around tight timelines and effectively interfacing with business partners and other professionals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field (accounting, economics, and etc.)
- Minimum of 4-6 years of related work experience in infrastructure investment and / or investment banking.
- Inquisitive self-starter with intellectual curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for creating an excellent work product with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to develop financial models independently with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong financial acumen and knowledge of valuation methods and debt structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management skills; ability to drive multiple investment analyses in a time-critical, transaction-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
- Discretion and good business judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior cruise maritime infrastructure investments, and / or investment banking background.
- Master's degree in finance or related field (accounting, economics, etc.).

Work Environment:
- Exposure to computer screens.
- Required hybrid work schedule, at least 3 days/week in office.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
