Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering effort to design electric generatorsand motors for the aerospace industry, coordinating electromagneticthoughtfulness, mechanical design, electrical design, and test efforts todevelop and qualify products.
- Act as the focal point for system-level integrationefforts, ensuring effective integration of the machine into the larger system.Work with internal Honeywell groups and customers.
- Serve as the primary customer communication focal foraddressing technical questions and providing expertise on mechanical aspects.
- Guide the Validation and Verification Activities ofelectric generators and motors, including creating compliance matrices andverification methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive plans for research, development, andqualification testing related to electric machine development programs,incorporating mechanical engineering ethics. - Facilitate new business proposalactivities, leveraging mechanical insights to inform design strategies.
- Assist in fielded product Root Cause and Corrective Action(RCCA) activities, applying mechanical knowledge to determine failure causesand implement corrective actions.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 10+ years of professional experience in Engineering, witha strong emphasis on mechanical design and thoughtfulness.
- Experience in the design and thoughtfulness of high-speedelectric motors and generators, with a solid insight into mechanical androtational electrical machines.
- Proven experienceguiding the technical effort for development programs, specifically inintegrating mechanical thoughtfulness.
- Proficiency in preparing requirements specifications,technical reports, technical proposals, trade studies, and relevantpresentations, with a focus on mechanical engineering as it pertains toelectric machines.
- Familiarity with military and commercial aircraftspecifications, particularly from a mechanical perspective.
- Mechanical engineering background
- Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA)activities, with the ability to analyze mechanical failures effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment,demonstrating adaptability in technical approaches.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveyingintricate mechanical and electrical concepts clearly to various audiences.
- A self-motivated individual who can work with minimalsupervision, consistently taking the initiative to achieve project objectives.
