Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. A college degree in behavioral science or one year of psychiatric technician experience in an inpatient acute psychiatric hospital is preferred.

Must-Have: Must live 50 miles away from the facility.
Job Description:
- Perform direct patient care tasks under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Carry out a variety of tasks as required by competency documentation.
- Provide direct patient care limited to non-invasive procedures.
- Support the Behavioral Health Department by performing a variety of service-related activities.
- Maintain facilities and supplies.
- Manage multiple and changing priorities effectively.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with superiors, peers, and customers.
- Possess knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrate fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity.
