Duties:
The Finance Team Lead provide strategic oversight, guidance and accountability to the IMHR and ROH Foundation. The role supports managers in their daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and workloads are effectively distributed.
- Prepare month/year end close schedule and deadlines, ensuring work equitably distributed amongst analysts.
- Lead the full accounting cycle, ensuring all financial deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to analysts, assisting with investigation and resolution of anomalies, variances, and errors
- Review funding letters, ensuring accurate recording and tracking of all reporting obligations.
- Prepare reporting schedule for monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports for external funders, ensuring equitably workload distribution among analysts.
- Leads all financial analysis for IMHR and the Foundation ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Support the budget preparation process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Work in a manner that complies with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies and procedures of The Royal.

- Demonstrate commitment to health equity, values diversity and contributes to an inclusive working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related filed.
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation mandatory.
- Minimum of five (5) years' accounting experience, including working with financial systems in a complex and dynamic environment required.
- 3 years' experience in a computerized accounting environment, including systems and reporting
- Strong knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel, Adaptive, ROSS)
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure, ensuring financial deadlines and reporting requirements are met
- Strong analytical skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Proven ability to lead and foster teamwork
- Demonstrates initiates to recommend changes
- Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- English level A- is mandatory in oral expression/comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.
Salary Range: 42.98 to 51.31 per hour
