What You'll Do:
SummitStone Health Partners (SHP) is offering a tremendous opportunity to lead in the most innovative behavioral health system, in the most connected and collaborative region in the State of Colorado. SHP is recruiting a new team member to serve as the Senior Clinical Data Analyst for the Acute Care facility at Longview campus. It is one thing to collect and analyze data but another entirely to develop and grow a data-driven decision-making framework for this innovative, state-of-the-art care model devoted to serving those experiencing mental health and substance use crises. Supported by a unique public-private partnership with Larimer County and 20-year sales tax initiative, Longview is unique in its voter-driven commitment to filling gaps in behavioral health care for our community.
The Senior Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for reporting, data management, development and maintenance of analytic tools to quantify the services and quality of care provided, and empowering our community to understand the impact of their investment. This role contributes to the strategic direction of data analytics by providing leadership, setting priorities for analytics initiatives, and guiding teams to align with long-term goals. This role will ensure the facility complies with regulatory and contractual data-provision requirements, support strategic data-collection mechanisms, and design data reports and architecture to align with programmatic and strategic needs. A successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to SHP's values by delivering visionary and operational leadership while fostering trust, collaboration, and a diverse and inclusive environment.

The typical hiring range for this position is $76,794 - $92,154 annually, based on relevant years of experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Design, build, enhance, and maintain reports and dashboards working from specification and/or direct interaction with business users.
- Build and maintain formal and ad hoc reports that support care quality, grants, and state/county agencies related to the Longview facility.
- Complete complex, detailed data analysis including identifying and interpreting trends and results to assist business users and leadership to make informed decisions.
- Perform ad hoc and formal data extraction/analysis using TSQL within the Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and designs scalable solutions.
- Present and translate complex data in a clear and non-technical manner for an audience that includes executive leaders, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, informatics, finance, business, or related field required
- More than 5 years of experience in data and report solutions working with healthcare data and the related privacy and security standards required
- More than 2 years of proven experience working with PowerBI or similar business intelligence platform required
- EPIC Certification - Report Writer / Clarity / Caboodle required
Preferred:
- Master's degree in healthcare, informatics, finance, business or related field preferred
- Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) or related certification preferred
- Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred
