Job Title: Registered Nurse - Surgery
Job Specialty: Surgery
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM (Flexible shift times: 0630-1500 or 0900-1730; 4 - 10 hour shifts considered)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Willing to work in PACU, GI, Pre/Post-operative care. Experience or willingness to perform in a Surgical Tech role is a plus.
License: Registered Nurse (RN)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS. CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) preferred
Must-Have: EPIC proficiency; Ability to float within a 40-mile radius as needed, based on skill set
Job Description:
- Participate in surgery-related functions within the designated unit.
- Provide excellent patient care in preoperative and postoperative settings.
- Respond flexibly to various shift schedules and department needs.
- Assist in providing direct patient care alongside surgeons and other medical professionals.
- Take on on-call duties every 4th weekday (Monday-Thursday) and every 4th weekend (Friday-Sunday).
- Work holidays as assigned or needed.
- Adhere to established healthcare protocols and maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Utilize EPIC software for patient records and documentation.
