General Summary: The Director of Analytics will lead and scale the department to meet the organizations analytic needs. The position is responsible for business intelligence (BI) and analytic initiatives that drive data-informed decision-making to enhance member outcomes, improve operational performance and efficiency, and support regulatory compliance across the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management (30% effort)
  • Manage a team of data analysts, BI developers and data quality specialists, aligning priorities with organizational goals and clinical objectives.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high performance and collaborative culture.
  • Partner with the Information Technology Department on data storage and strategy.
  • Partner with clinical operations, quality, finance, and Executive Leadership to deliver data solutions that improve service delivery, outcomes and contractual compliance.

  • Time from Data Request to Delivery


Department Production (70% effort)
  • Manage resources effectively and align with organizational goals.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of KPI dashboards, reports and analytic models to track clinical performance, patient engagement, access to care and regulatory compliance.
  • Use data to support program evaluation, population health initiatives, and value-based care models.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security standards are met.
  • Facilitate data governance and standardization across systems (EHR, billing platforms, client engagement, etc.).
  • Provide strategic guidance for predictive analytics, social determinants of health analysis and risk stratification.
  • Drive the adoption of analytic tools and best practices across the organization.
  • Monitor and communicate the impact of analytic initiatives on business outcomes.
  • Perform programming work as necessary.
  • Stay current with trends in data science, analytics technology and business intelligence.

  • Forecast Accuracy

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Arizona Driver's License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meets insurance requirements, if required for position.
  • Must possess and maintain Level 1 fingerprint clearance throughout employment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (Employer provides), if required.
  • Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).
