The Commercial Data & Insights Manager oversees a team of Analysts who develop and execute strategic data and analytics initiatives for the Commercial organization. They collaborate with IT and key stakeholders to prioritize and deliver data strategy requirements, while managing process and system improvements. Additionally, the successful individual in this role will lead the implementation of the Commercial data strategy, while developing their team both technically and professional, and enhancing the knowledge base of Analysts to drive commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversees a team of Analysts responsible for the development and execution of strategic data and analytics for the Commercial organization.
- Leads collaboration efforts and acts as liaison with IT on data analytics, data strategy and data governance initiatives on behalf of Commercial organization.
- Collaborates with key Commercial stakeholders to develop and prioritize the data analytics and strategy requirements/roadmap and partners with IT to deliver those priorities.
- Manages the identification and implementation of internal and external facing processes and system improvements related to data and surrounding analytics.
- Leads the implementation of the data strategy for Commercial and oversees the day-to-day execution of the plan. Responsible for the team that champions the data strategic vision within the Commercial organization.
- Leads a team of highly motivated people with knowledge around data organization/strategies, analytics, and data science to drive commercial decisions.
- Develops the team through new assignments, cross training, and personal development including the hiring selection, career development and supervision.
- Leads Commercial Data Analytics Community to enhance the knowledge base of Analysts in the organization.
- Designs and deploys tools to advance our competitive landscape across Commercial, from spot market or to end customer.
- Manages a team that offers automation and tools supporting continuous improvement in data, reports, dashboards, and new technologies.
- Employs an agile mindset leveraging both internal and external data sources.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, or related discipline required.
- Eight (8) years of experience of Commercial, Data Engineering, or Analytical experience required.
- Technical proficiency in fundamental programming languages and experience building visualizations preferred.
