Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for the Emergency Department. This is a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) position, primarily focused on Day Shift. The CNS will play a key leadership role in improving patient outcomes by functioning through the three spheres of influence: patient, nurse, and system. The role includes providing expert consultation and driving improvements in patient care delivery, using evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by a recognized accrediting body.
• National Provider BLS certification.
• Registered Nurse License.
• Advanced Practice Clinical Nurse Specialist License.
• Certification as Clinical Nurse Specialist in the area of specialty.
• Certification in specialty area (e.g., Emergency Department, Critical Care).
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the area of specialty (Emergency Department).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in teaching adult learners.
• 2 years of Clinical Nurse Specialist experience.

Skills and Certifications:

• Certification as Clinical Nurse Specialist in area of specialty.
• National Provider BLS certification.
• Registered Nurse License.
• Advanced Practice Clinical Nurse Specialist License.
• Master's Degree from an accredited clinical nurse specialist program.
