This position will require working in our Nashville office.
The pay range is $125,000 - $150,000 annually.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director, Enterprise Operations designs and manages all enterprise and storage systems, tier 3 response to and correction of issues with related systems. Supervises team members who support these systems. Utilizes preventive action to identify issues that may develop in the environment, documenting those issues, developing a solution plan and ultimately leading the solution's implementation. Manages medium to large projects including project plan development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Works with internal and external customers to ensure that technology business requirements and technology-based solutions meet business needs. Develops and reviews project plans for implementation, specifying resources required.
- Supervises staff in the performance of their duties and evaluates as prescribed by company policy. This includes but is not limited to: training new employees, evaluating performance and preparing written performance appraisals, listening to concerns and effectively resolving disputes or issues, taking corrective or disciplinary action, developing work schedules for staff and approving leave requests. Uses service metric results to identify and implement training opportunities for staff.
- Takes leadership role in identifying enhanced technologies related to enterprise systems, storage technologies, identity management, and associated systems in an integrated IT environment. This includes setting up vendor conferences and demonstrations, so the IT team and Technology Steering Committee can evaluate business/security requirements against these new technologies.
- Works collaboratively to manage enterprise systems across technical and operational departments. Develops bill of materials, estimates cost, prepares project submittals, processes proposals, and procures related systems components. Coaches team on effective technical management techniques.
- Manages change management processes relative to patching, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Works with industry leaders to develop and implement best practices for tuning, performance and functional administration of security electronics technologies.
- Directs procurement, retirement of equipment, and upgrade of enterprise technologies according to established departmental and procurement protocols.
- Develops processes and documentation to ensure availability of supported technology.
- Manifests the department's commitment to positive, friendly and competent customer support. Maintains relationships with customer departments and ensures all support is provided in the context of assisting application users succeed in their business goals.
- Measures and manages department performance by monitoring service ticket metrics to identify trends and develop remediation strategies.
- Follows the CoreCivic program management methodology and works collaboratively with all team members.
- Domestic U.S. travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field is required.
- Five years of related experience is required. Supervisory experience is preferred. Additional years of experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience managing small to medium technology-based projects required.
- MSCE certification is preferred.
- Requires proficiency in Intel-based server systems, Linux/Unix based server systems, storage area networking, Microsoft Windows Server/Advanced Server/Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft AVD, Rubrik, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra, Veritas NetBackup, LDAP and identity management technologies, and system reporting tools.
- Must have strong knowledge of development and production life cycle stages, and knowledge of business processes and its integration with IT.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
