What You'll Do

This CFO role sits at the intersection of financial discipline and strategic growth. You'll lead all fiscal operations across the company and affiliated entities-overseeing compliance, controls, forecasting, treasury, tax, audit, and overall financial strategy.

You'll work closely with operational leadership to shape the company's direction, make investment calls based on data (not hunches), and ensure capital is deployed where it drives the most value.

Financial Strategy
Build and maintain rolling forecasts to support executive decisions.
Use scenario modeling to evaluate growth paths and investment trade-offs.
Identify capital needs and advise on optimal deal structures.
Provide financial insight to support transformation projects and large-scale investments.

Financial Operations
Standardize accounting systems and streamline processes across teams.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
Lead compliance, audits, tax planning, and financial reporting.
Coordinate reporting for banks, insurance partners, and bonding agents.

Risk & Technology Oversight
Stay ahead of regulatory changes and policy shifts that impact financial health.
Lead risk management in collaboration with legal and compliance stakeholders.
Oversee technology adoption in finance and construction systems.
Guide implementation of new innovation initiatives from a financial lens.

What You Bring
10-15 years leading finance at a mid to large-scale company, preferably with capital-intensive operations in commercial construction.
Track record of owning forecasting, reporting, capital structure, and audit processes
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
You've managed multi-disciplinary teams and worked closely with both execs and outside advisors.
You think in models and balance sheets-not buzzwords.

How You Work
You connect macro strategy to day-to-day metrics.
You negotiate with data and back your instincts with numbers.
You build systems that last-and teams that know how to use them.
You lead with integrity and don't outsource accountability.

What's Different Here
The Controller, Risk Manager, and Tech lead all report into this role. Finance is not just a support function-it's a leadership engine.
You'll work directly with business unit heads to assess margin improvements, identify risk exposures, and drive capital decisions.
The organization is mid-sized, stable, and employee-owned, which means financial transparency and long-term planning matter more than short-term optics.

If you're looking to do more than just close books and watch ratios-and instead want to shape where the money goes, how it's used, and what the business looks like 5 years from now-this seat is yours to lead.
