Senior Process Safety Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Safety Engineer to lead our efforts in ensuring process safety excellence within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing process safety management (PSM) principles and practices, identifying risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them within our biotechnology and oil & gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process safety management protocols and guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential process safety issues.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety performance and compliance with EHS regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on process safety and risk management practices.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to process safety standards.
• Facilitate training programs for employees on process safety and EHS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process safety engineering within the biotechnology, oil, or gas industries.
• In-depth knowledge of process safety management (PSM) regulations and best practices.
• Strong understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with hazard analysis methodologies, including HAZOP and LOPA.
