Role reports to: Sr. Finance Director, Customer Development & Commercial Operations

Location: Hybrid, based in Summit, NJ. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

Travel %: 10%

Pay: $98,000 - $167,900. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

The US Customer Development Finance team is recruiting for a Finance Manager to provide financial leadership across our US Customer Teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assess customer strategies and financial plans to influence and provide insights to customer teams on short-term business plans and long-term strategies to deliver financial commitments, drive growth and improve profitability
  • Shape key external initiatives such as Joint Business Planning and customer operating plans, as well as leading core internal processes, such as Customer LE reviews, quota setting, Financial forecasting and trade management
  • Drive Trade Investment efficiency using data driven insights and standardized analytics which measure trade return on investment; partner cross functionally to bring insights to action
  • Provide financial leadership across all US Customers by driving synergies and efficiencies across teams, playing a lead role in IBP integration, and forecasting enhancements
  • Manager 1-2 direct reports, provide support across the US Customer Finance team


The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate an outside in mindset, bringing external insights to the forefront of decision making
  • Have passion about the business, and a firm grasp of strategic and financial concepts; be flexible and quickly adapt to new market situations
  • Proactively identify and demonstrate innovative ideas, processes or technology to accelerate business performance, adapt to change and provide better solutions focused on value creation.
  • Have demonstrated experience in ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization. Possess strong communications, framing presentation skills; along with solid interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Support both direct and indirect reports across the team including opportunities for development and increased impact


Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership capabilities.
  • The ability to work independently and handle several tasks simultaneously is required


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing and developing people strongly preferred.
  • A CPA, CMA or other financial certification is preferred.
